Description

The Cooke City Montana Museum was established in 2014, and displays permanent exhibits on the history of the three communities of Colter Pass, Cook City, and Silver Gate. It also has a backyard museum space that visitors can check out, which features mining equipment and an authentic miner's cabin and outhouse. The museum also serves as an information center for the three communities, so travelers can definitely stop by for itinerary planning.
