Stopped here on a whim. Saw the sign and drove up. Well worth the dusty washboard road. BLM staff was very helpful and friendly. Check this place out it is well worth it! And make sure to check out Coloma just before you reach Garnet. 07-16-17

Better not try the road from south if you do not have heavy duty tires. The ghost town is well preserved and well worth the drive!
