Description
People usually come here to have picnics, but it is now a campground as well with first come, first served basis campsites. Picnic tables, flush toilets, and drinking water come with your stay.
Fee for single sites is $12 a night from Monday to Thursday, and $18 a night on Fridays to Sundays. It is open all year round, weather permits, and pets are welcome. Just make sure you keep your dogs on leash at all times.
To reach this from Las Vegas, you have to travel north on Highway 95 to the junction of Highway 157. Turn left and continue for about 18 miles. You will find the picnic area on the left side of the highway.

The day use area allows camping since last week. $12 weekdays/$18weekends.Clean area with shade spots, enough space, would def. recommend it. Camphost is a really nice guy to. You can pay the fee at the entrance in an envelope. Check out of 12.
