Description
Generally open mid-June through mid-September, Mount Rose Campground is the perfect place for recreational activities including fishing, swimming, boating, and sightseeing. Hiking is also be done on several area trails such as Tahoe Meadows Trail, Tahoe Rim Trail, Mount Rose Wilderness Trail and Mount Rose Summit Trail.
The campground contains 26 sites, with six tent-only sites and one triple-family site, equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. There are three vault restrooms and potable water.

The camp was shut over winter and still was mid July due to snow. I managed to park in the summit car park and walk my gear in though. Nice spot
