Telephone Cove
Campground

Description
Reaching this free campsite would be quite challenging because even if you'll pass by a washboard road, it has a lot of big potholes that might get your tires trapped.
But once you get here, you'll be rewarded by a beautiful view of the Lake Mohave where you can do boating, fishing, and swimming. There is decent mobile reception, trash bins, and pit toilets.
It is usually crowded, especially on weekends. And since there are no strict rules being implemented, expect noise from people, loud music, and generators, as well as smoke from fire pits being blown to your space.
You may opt for a farther spot but cell coverage in the southern end could be a problem.

If it's really where the marker indicates, then it's no longer accessible. There's an unsealed access road at Dipping Springs Canyon a few miles west along Nv-163, but there's a sign there that says vehicle camping is prohibited. (Tent camping is okay.) Possibly the details here apply to the Arizona side of Telephone Cove?
