Description
Nestled between two sandstone cliffs, this picnic area offers a picturesque view. It has 28 picnic tables, trash cans, and two toilets. However, there is no drinking water available. Tables on the farther side of the picnic area have tall cottonwood trees providing shade, while the tables on the front are exposed to sun.
You can find the spring near the north-most tables. Animals like rare spring nails and toads live in the spring, while water from it refreshes gray fox, bighorn sheep, bats, and other desert creatures.
Several trails can be accessed from here if you are into hiking.

Picnic tables with a scenic backdrop. About half way through the scenic drive. Great spot to stop for lunch. Another popular rock climbing area. Multiple walking tracks leave from here.
