Description
An easy 0.4-mile loop trail which runs into Pine Creek Wash through the area where a prescribed burn was performed by BLM in 1922. Remnants of that fire remain, but the effort to reduce the possibility of the tall ponderosa pines being killed in a wildfire was successful.
There are a lot of wildflowers to admire along the trail, which, on average, takes about an hour to hike.
