Description
This museum tells the story of America's nuclear weapon testing program at the Nevada test site. You can see here a huge nuclear reactor used in the development of nuclear rocket. There are also atomic weapons to find in this museum. A total of 7o0 years of nuclear testing is featured here, along with a piece of Berlin wall as symbol of the end of the Cold War.
It is open from Thursday to Monday, 10am to 3pm. General adult admission cost $22, those of ages 7 to 14 are $16. Seniors, students, NV residents, and military rates are $18, and children 6years under are free. The museum is closed every Christmas, New Year, and Thanksgiving.
