Description

As you hike the Rainbow Vista trail, you are looking at 150 million years of time. The beautiful canyons, domes, towers ridges and valleys were carved from sand deposited million years ago. In this viewpoint, you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of multicolored rocks northward, and dark red cliffs in the south, that's where it gets its name 'rainbow.' You can reach this on White Domes Road, shortly after the Visitor Center and Mouse tank Trailhead. Restrooms and picnic area are accessible.
