Description

Coal Mine Campground and Picnic Area sits in a setting of pinon, juniper, gambel oak, and mature ponderosa pine trees. It has a loop road that winds through the area and provides access to the campsites and the beautiful 0.25-mile nature trail. There's also a historic bridge built by the Job Corps between 1967 and 1968, which provides entrance to the trail.
