Description
The Jemez Mountains provide the backdrop for Fenton Lake State Park, a mellow mountain escape featuring the Rio Cebolla that flows through the park.
Stocked with rainbow trout from fall through spring, campers or day use visitors can fish for German brown trout, and even go flyfishing. There is also a fun playground for children.

Very nice and popular state park. Best of all there isnt a cell signal to be had. Highly recommend site #28(see photos). It is as far back into the park as you can go. Rangers are super friendly as well as fellow campers.
