Description
Visit the Valles Caldera National Preserve and see a volcanic crater that lies atop a dormant supervolcano. Visitors can go on a range of activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and exploring historic cabins and prehistoric sites.
The preserve is also home to a variety of wildlife such as badgers, Gunnison prairie dogs, coyotes, golden eagles and elk.
