Carlsbad Caverns Visitor Center has exhibits about how the cavern was formed. There is also a 16-minute film about the park. A gift shop, bookstore and restaurant are also located on site.

Cave entrance is from here. Purchase you ticket and either take the elevator or natural entrance. Has an awesome museum to look at and video on the cave. Last tickets to the cave at 3.15pm.

Fabulous experience! Allow 1.5 - 2.5 hours for the self-guided tours. No overnight parking here but plenty closeby.
