Description
The Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument was made to protect the Mogollon cliff dwellings on the headwaters of the Gila River. It spans 533 acres that is home to two prominent ruins sites among a collection of smaller sites. The monument houses remains of a Mimbres Culture community in various locations, two of which are most prominent.
