Description

Visit one of New Mexico's largest natural arches, the La Ventana Natural Arch, that travelers can marvel at from the parking area. Or, take the option to hike a short 1/4 mile walk up to the base of the arch. Although it is not technically a part of El Malpais National Monument, it is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

Beautiful sandstone arch. You can see it from the car park or take the short trail to get up close.
