Description
With over 800 acres of fun, the Dunes Vehicle Recreation Area offers exciting adventures for off-road enthusiasts in an area created with over 40 years of off-road vehicle use.
The OHV area features large sand dunes, steep to gentle hillsides, and sandy arroyo bottoms, along with numerous roads and trails for a variety of motorized activity.
Only OHVs, ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles can make use of the area, with camping being prohibited. There is a vault toilet provided at the bottom of the recreation area.

Travelling Man
Not the cleanest of sites by any means. Broken glass and rubbish all over the place. We had to stay as it was getting late. Yes it is free but still no call for the rubbish.
