Description
Nestled in the Tularosa Basin between the Sacramento and San Andres Mountain ranges, White Sands National Park allows visitors to venture out into the dunes and explore this special place. Begin the journey at the visitor center and gift shop, which has a selection of convenient food options including sandwiches, burritos, snacks and beverages. Visitors are also welcome to bring their pets to the park as long as they are kept on a leash. However, pets are not permitted in the visitor center or gift shop; service animals are allowed.
