There is some more private sites on side roads/tracks. We tried one down west hill road but had to reverse out because it was too wet and muddy to cross, so have caution!

Nice spot with dispersed camping along the road, lots of spots for tents but some pullouts for cars/vans. No facilities as far as we could tell but lovely free camping!
