Description

The New York Renaissance Faire is a 65-acre Renaissance faire that comprises permanent structures, 20 stages and over 100 shops. The faire runs nine weekends beginning on the first Saturday in August, with a 17th faire day each Labor Day Monday. The faire has a different storyline that changes with each year, as some weekends are themed, such as one aimed towards pirates. It is also a training ground for stage and screen actors who use the opportunity to grow in their careers, as the actors spend two months preparing for the faire.
