Description
Visitors of Hanging Rock State Park can have access to a stocked lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. It also features over 20 miles of hiking trails. Dan River can be accessed from the park.
There are 73 sites for tents and RVs. Picnic tables, grills, and tent pads are provided but there are no hookups or dump station. Water, showers, and toilets can be accessed.

No hookups but there are showers and water spigots. Some sites more suitable for RVs than others. Each site has a tent pad, picnic table and fire ring. It is a forested area so most sites are shaded. Bathhouses are closed from Dec 1 to March 15 but there is a drop toilet available.
