Description
Jones Lake State Park is set under a shade of tall pines, and surrounds two of the many mysterious bay lakes found in eastern North Carolina - allowing canoes, kayaks and motorized craft of 10 horsepower or less. There's also a visitor center and exhibit hall that introduce visitors to the ecology of the bay lakes, and a four-mile loop trail through bay thickets and pond cypress stands.
