Pilot Mountain State Park features the iconic geologic knob serving as a beacon to Piedmont. It offers panoramic views, trails, and river section. It has 42 sites for tents and trailers with tables, fire pits and grills. Water, bathhouses and hot showers are also available. The park offers two paddle-in campsites on the south bank of Yadkin River.

Nice place to camp. This is a state park with no power or water. It's at the top of the mountain, so steep road in and out. Great camping and hiking trails. Cell service was non existent.
