Description

South Mountains State Park is situated in one of the state's most rugged areas, and features elevations up to 3,000 feet, an 80-foot waterfall, mountain streams and over 40 miles of trails for hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers. There are 24 backpacking campsites, with drive-to campsites that sit beside the Jacob Fork River, as well as two picnic areas and a picnic shelter for groups.
