Description
The Art Loeb Trailhead is the start of a 30.1-mile trail, dubbed as one of the longer and more difficult trails in North Carolina. Trek the trail dedicated to Art Loeb, an activist from the Carolina Mountain Club, and a man who 'deeply loved these mountains.'
The trail is a designated National Recreation Trail (NRT), and is promoted as one of the highest-caliber trails for recreation access to this section of the National Forest.
