It offers one of the best views in Blue Ridge Parkway. Beautiful views of Linville Gorge can be seen from this overlook. It is just a short walk from the parking lot.

0.6 mile trail to the viewpoint of a short walk to a closer view. It was a complete whiteout when we visited so unfortunately we didn't get any view.
