Description

Woods Mountain and Catawba Valley can be viewed from this overlook. This overlook was named after the deer that travel in the site to lick the rocks containing saltpeter. Deerlick Gap overlook has picnic tables shaded by tall trees. Groundhog can be spotted at times.
