Description

Fort Fisher State Historic Site features the main fort complex, a museum, and a visitor center. Visitors can explore the museum, which includes a map of the 1865 battle with three-dimensional models of Fort Fisher and Battery Buchanan. Or, take a tour around the surviving earthworks of the fort with trail marker displays.
