The German Culture Museum houses an impressive collection of area memorabilia and displays of Amish, German and Swiss heritage, focusing specifically on the history and settlement of Holmes County and Walnut Creek Township. Visitors are greeted by knowledgeable volunteers at the entry desk, where a portrait of Jonas Stutzman is featured. Explore and see a replica one-room cabin with a field stone fireplace, and showcases of tools, glassware, newspaper articles, advertisements, photographs, family memorabilia, church and school papers and programs.
