Visitors of Black Mesa State Park can hike to the top of plateau, which is Oklahoma's highest point at 4,973 feet. Bird lovers will love the park and can spot golden eagles, scaled quail, black-billed magpies, and pinyon jays. Fishing, boating, canoeing, and kayaking can also be done in the park. It offers campsites with water and electric hookups. There is a dump station, grills, picnic area, playground, restrooms and showers. Camping fee s $16 to $25 a night.
