Description
Beach combing and hiking are popular activities in Cape Lookout State Park. The camp has 170 tent sites, 38 full hookup sites, 1 site with electricity and water, 13 yurts, 6 deluxe cabins, and 2 group tent campsites.
Picnic tables, fire rings, shower, dump station, amphitheater, water, and toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash.
Camping fee is $21 for tents, $31 to $37 for hookup sites, $47 for yurts, and $91 for cabins.

Nicely located at the beach, privacy. Washrooms, showers old, not nice. But it works.

Swarms of mosquitoes invaded our car as soon as we open the doors to get out, so we went elsewhere. Seems odd they were so numerous in the middle of a sunny day in Oct. Location was nice but not worth dealing with the ravenous pests.
