Description
Half of Carter Lake campground is located along the lake which means fishing and boating opportunities. The other half is right on the dunes which children love. Carter Dune trail can also be hiked from the the area. Huge trees surround and provide shade to the camp.
It has 23 reservable sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, water, and toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash.
Camping fee is $22 a night. It is open from May to September.

Looks like 5 fcfs sites, about 20 total. Mebbe no camp host. Yes water, with real toilets.

Toilets not as clean as some parks. With no showers, elect, or water I do not think it's worth $20

Showers close, at driftwood 2 cg. $1 for 5 min, coin op, do not have to be camping there. Very cool!
