Description

Charles V. Stanton Park offers opportunities for fishing, swimming and boating. Hiking trails and horseshoe pits are also accessible on site. The campground has a total of 40 sites. 20 have full hookups while the other half is for dry camping. The camp is divided into upper and lower sections, with the former being open all year and the latter closes on winter. Picnic tables, fire rings, water, shower, dump station, and toilets are available on site. Dogs are allowed but they must be on leash. Vehicles up to 60 feet can be accommodated. Camping fee is $19 for non-hookup and $29 for full hookup sites.

Nice clean campground and showers are free for campers. $5 shower if not camping just ask the park host. There are a lot of cats, and kittens running around site 3.

There is a 2nd camp area lower and closer to the crick. Very nice, also full restrooms w/ showers.

One of the Douglas County parks. Showers free with camp fee. A bit cheaper than OR state parks. Nice river next to tent sites. Grocery, restaurants close in Canyonville
