Description
Tucked above Josephine Creek and Illinois River, this rustic campground has 6 first come, first serve sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, and toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash. There is no fee in the camp.

Small area with toilets and picnic tables. There are other areas to camp on the road on the way in. Not great for trailers or large RV's. Eight Dollar Rd is narrow so go slow, what appeared to be a drunk driver almost ran us off the road speeding through.

More of a tent site but some space for small RVs in the parking lot and nobody else there. Also as mentioned some possibilities to stay at some pullouts/trailheads along the road.
