Description
Lake Owyhee State Park offers two campgrounds along Owyhee Reservoir, a 53-mile-long lake that fills a narrow, deep canyon brimming with colorful volcanic rock formations.
It features the Gordon Gulch day-use area, with picnic tables and a boat ramp. Open from April 15 to October 31, the seasonal McCormick Campground has 29 electrical sites with water, nine tent sites with water nearby, two accessible sites, an RV dump station, a boat ramp, and hot showers and flush toilets.
There is also the Indian Creek Campground, which is open year-round and offers 22 electrical sites with water, two cabins, a boat ramp, and potable water available.
