Really for tents (3 good-sized sites with picnic tables and fire rings) only but there's some parking space for vans. Could fit 3-4 small vans or 1-2 caravans. Vans could try to drive in; only 1 of the sites has flat ground close to the fire ring. Has a toilet & sits on the confluence of two creeks (no other water available). A bit of a trek to get into from the south; much more direct from the north. Worth it for the relative solitude and beautiful surrounds (though some of the paid sites further south 1-2 hours are arguably more lovely). Plenty of 'claim' sites close by, which are often empty. For those not familiar; people have a lease-style arrangement allowing them sole access to the site for mining (& they may camp for up to 2 weeks at a time).
