Description
South Beach State Park offers recreations like biking, jogging, horseback riding, horseshoes and disc golf.
It has 227 sites with water and electricity, 60 tent sites, 27 yurts and 3 group sites. Picnic tables, fire rings, showers, dump station, water and toilets are available. Dogs are allowed but must be on leash.
Camping fee is $21 for tents, $31 to $34 for hookup sites, and $47 for yurts.

I really recommend this spot. Late arrival was no problem. Many empty spots with electric and water. Dumping station near entrance. Showers were okay. Nice fire pit and also firewood was available. Not crowded at all.

Lots of campsites with firepits and tables, toilets and showers are clean, and it's close to newport. No complaints!
