Description

Timpanogas Shelter sits on shore of its namesake lake, and is a cabin patterned after the old Civilian Conservation Corps three-sided shelter built in 1991. Open from late June through late October, it is accessible by car. The rustic 15 x 18 shelter can accommodate six to eight people, and comes equipped with a sleeping loft, a table with benches, and a wood stove for heat. There's also a picnic table, a campfire ring, and an outhouse with pit toilet located outside.
