Description
Whalen Island County campground offers all-year camping. It has full hookup RV sites and tent sites. Guests can have access to the beach, boat launch, fishing, and estuary. Bird watching and crabbing are another favorite activities here.
Camping fee is $20 to $38 a night.

Nice place but not worth raving about. Expensive for what you get. No showers, no hot water, but a nice location.

Each site has a bench and fire pit with a few taps here and there. About two thirds of the sites are amongst trees whilst the other are in an open field next to the shore. Can buy firewood $6/bunch. If you have an RV dont expect a perfectly flat spot.
