Description

Sage Hen Rest Area is a roadside rest area that serves both eastbound and westbound traffic, with ample parking areas for cars and large trucks/RVs. It features modern restroom facilities with running water, picnic tables, and a concrete walking loop dotted with trees and wildflowers. There's also a stone memorial to Harry C. Smith at the rear of the rest area, who was a local resident credited with helping to improve roads in Harney County.
