Description

Old growth hemlock trees estimated to be over 300 years old tower above Salt Springs State Park. The park has 14.85 miles of trails passing through the forest, overlooking the gorge, and meanders through habitats. Fishing can also be done in the area. The park has rustic tent sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Water and restrooms can be accessed. Maximum stay is 14 days.

Nice rustic little campsite right by a creek. Walking trails to water falls. Could not park your car at your site, had to walk a short little path to each site. Bathrooms were drop toilets but clean with hand sanitizer. Fire pit in each site with campfire grill on top.
