Description
Rough Point is one of the Gilded Age mansions of Newport, which is now open to the public as a museum. The English Manorial-style home was designed by architectural firm Peabody & Stearns for Frederick William Vanderbilt, with its last owner being Doris Duke before being owned and operated by the Newport Restoration Foundation.
Tours occur from May until November, with exhibits changing every year.
