Description

Museum and interactive exhibits about the boyhood of America's 7th President, Andrew Jackson, are featured in this state park. Some of its main features are the statue of the 'Boy of the Waxhaws' and an 18th century replica schoolhouse. It has 25 sites with water and electric hookups. Dump station, restrooms and showers are available. It also has a park store, playground, hiking and biking trails. Camping fee starts at $20 a night.
