Description
A relaxing mountain getaway awaits visitors of Oconee State Park. It features a campground, rustic cabins, lake with swimming hole, canoe rentals, and fishing opportunities. It has wooded nature trails which will be enjoyed by hikers.
The park has 139 sites with water and electric service, 15 rustic tent sites, and 19 cabins. Picnic tables and tent pads are provided. Restrooms, showers, and dump station are located in the park. WIFI, playground, park store, and picnic shelters are available.
Camping fee starts at $20 a night.

Quality of sites vary widely, so do your research. Lots of pull through sites, but they can sometimes be very short and curved. Some sites are very nice.

Nice weekend spent at Oconee state park, relaxing walk and mini golf. The drive around the campground is rough and narrow but manageable, fairly level site and large enough for our motorhome and a car if we had desired. Lots of travel trailers and even tents along with several other motorhomes, park was crowded but quiet after 10 pm.
