Welcome to the Oasis of the Badlands! This remote and beautiful KOA is just 4 miles from Badlands National Park. Rent one of our brand new Roxor UTV's and tour the surrounding area for an unforgettable experience. The rugged beauty of the Badlands includes a rich fossil bed and the nation's largest protected mixed-grass prairie, where you'll find bison, bighorn sheep, pronghorn antelope, mule deer and prairie dogs. Some of the darkest skies in North America await stargazers, and opportunities for photography and hiking abound. The campground is in a quiet rural setting with hundreds of large shade trees beside the White River. Enjoy the pool, fun-bike rentals, mini golf and a huge pet park. Food from our Cook Shack includes buffalo burgers, pizza, breakfast burritos and wraps as well as pancakes, Indian tacos and more. Food is served Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Choose from Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins, Tepees, Yurts, Full-hookup Pull-Thru RV Sites, Premium Tent Sites (with shelter, sink and electricity), standard shaded Tent Sites and big-rig friendly sites with hard patio areas. Stop into our well stocked grocery store and gift shop. Pool: Memorial Weekend - Labor Day Weekend. Max pull thru: 120 feet. Your hosts: Bob & Karen Brown. There's lots to do at this KOA! Rent a new Roxor UTV 4x4 and explore the area, try our great meals including pizza, indian tacos and homemade breakfast burritos, rent a fun-bike, cool off in the pool, jog up the hill for spectacular views, play mini-golf, enjoy our activities and 'Crafts for Kids' schedule posted in the camp store. Some activities have an extra cost. Most activities are available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
