Description

Visitors of Frozen Head State Park will experience a forested and unspoiled mountain setting as they enter the park. It spans over 24,000 acres of wilderness and features the 3,324-foot peak of the Cumberland Mountains. The park has 20 campsites in Big Cove area. Picnic tables, grills, lantern hanger and fire ring are provided but there are no hookups or dump stations. There is a bathhouse and drinking water. 8 primitive group sites are also available in the Flat Fork area. Camping fee is $9 to $34 a night.
