Description

Spanning 12,539 acres, Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park borders Mississippi River. Wildlife like deer, turkey, otter, beaver, foxes and bobcats can be seen in the park. Over 200 species of songbirds also live in the area. There are 49 campsites in the park. All have picnic tables, fire rings, grills, water and electric hookups. A dump station is also located on site. Bathhouse with hot showers is available. Daily rate starts at $27.
