Description
This popular fishing spot got its name when the area's tanning companies caught fire during the Civil War and a profuse number of mice fleeing was seen. Today, its location on Tennessee River is abundant with bass, bream, catfish, crappie, and stripe.
The main campground has 25 sites. 19 of those have water and electric hookups. There is also a dump station, bathhouse, and laundromat. All these sites have tables and fire rings. The park also has a primitive campsite with 21 spaces right on the Tennessee River.
Camping fee is $9 to $28 a night.
