Description
Abilene State Park offers recreations like hiking, geocaching, biking, and bird watching. It also has sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball goal, and a large open area. Guests can also go fishing or boating. A swimming pool is also located on site.
The park has 20 tent sites with water or electricity, and 42 RV sites with hookups. 3 of those sites have full hookups. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided. Restrooms can be accessed nearby. It also has a group site which can accommodate 16 people.
Camping fee is $12 to $24 a night.

Spacious campground with large sites. Restrooms very clean, and heated (November, it's cold)! Large trees, lawns, lake. For sure beautiful in Spring, summer and early autumn. Very quiet.
