Description
Majestic views of Casa Grande and Emory Peak are visible at Chisos Basin campground. Several popular trails of Big Bend are accessible near the camp.
It has a total of 56 sites for tents, trailers and RVs. However, trailers over 20 feet and RVs over 24 feet are not recommended because of the narrow and winding road. Picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, dump station, trash bins, amphitheater and toilets are available.
Camping fee is $16 a night. It is open all year.

It is not recommended that trailers over 20 feet or RV's over 24 feet go down the Chisos Basin Rd due to it being narrow, winding and steep.
