Description
Cottonwood campground is set between Castolon Historic District, Santa Elena Canyon and tail end of Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive. It is a small campground with 21 single sites and 1 group site.
This remote camp has picnic tables, potable water, trash bins, food lockers, and toilets. Generators are not allowed in the camp. Campers can stay for a maximum of 14 days. Pets are permitted as long as they are always on leash.
Camping fee is $16 a night. It is open from November to April.

Quite small campground, we stayed one night.

Smaller campground, not really suitable for large RV's, more made for tents. We found a site in our 25 foot motor home but there wasn't much to choose from. Has some shaded sites, picnic tables, grill and food storage boxes.
